Please encourage your friends to do the same. I know you're looking at a possible wind development very close to your summer home, too. This must be stopped, and it's going to take our combined effots to do it.

Thank you sincerely for all which you and the Lexington Gentleman do!

xoxo
MeKaren Bessey Peasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06338816663941656625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3525954039279807738.post-43681603811632767592010-10-11T08:54:44.017-04:002010-10-11T08:54:44.017-04:00Thanks for the update Karen. The wind developers would love to paint all of those who oppose their destructive scam as 'environmental extreemists,' or, 'nuts with signs.' Of course, we know better, and it makes me proud to see Mainer's educating themselves, and then stepping out of their comfort zones to do what they know to be right.

Keep up the good work.

DCDavid Corriganhttp://www.realwindinfoforme.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3525954039279807738.post-83129190306761744952010-10-11T07:27:29.963-04:002010-10-11T07:27:29.963-04:00I am sincerely proud of the people of Maine who, l...I am sincerely proud of the people of Maine who, like Karen Pease, are fighting the good fight to try to save Maine from being needlessly altered from a state of immensely beautiful landscapes to landscapes littered with huge wind turbines and scarred mountaintops.

We can never change our state back to the way it was once this occurs. Even if the wind turbines were removed, the huge amount of blasting done to the mountain tops can never be reversed. Our mountains will carry the scars forever. Maine's mottoes of "Vacationland" and "Maine, the way life should be" will have to be changed to read, "Maine's Folly."

Those who are supposed to be representing our best interests in this state, have dropped the ball and jumped on the bandwagon of "green energy" to the detriment to the State of Maine and the quality of life of the residents of Maine, many of whom have no say in the decision making process which will bring these monstrosities called industrial wind turbines to our state.Lexington Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06715157615634979651noreply@blogger.com
